As a Hydraulic Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with key mining clients. This role requires a consultative sales approach, providing technical expertise and tailored hydraulic solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or a related technical field
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulic sales
- Proven sales experience within the mining sector
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and power units
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with mining houses, OEMs, and EPCM companies
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and technical proposals
- Ability to provide application support and recommend fit-for-purpose hydraulic solutions
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Commercially driven with a proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Willingness to travel to mining sites and customer locations
- Valid driver's licence
