A leading tool manufacturer is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to cover the Pretoria territory. Candidates who apply must have hardware store sales experience and a stable track record . Duties & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the position includes
Representing and selling the company’s hardware, tool products and services to customers and obtaining orders in the allocated hardware markets. Achieving agreed sales volumes and GP targets for the area of responsibility. Keeping the Regional Sales Manager informed of competitor activity and customer status and weekly activities. Obtaining new business by calling on new and existing customers and obtaining orders and also promoting new products into the market.
Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction by
- Calling regularly on customers
- Ensuring that orders are processed and delivered.
- Following up with customers
- Resolving customer problems and complaints speedily
Candidates must have
- Customer centric skills
- Excellent communication ability – written & verbal
- Excellent product knowledge
- Self motivated and self disciplined
- Be persuasive
- Travel extensively within Pretoria
- Have self confidence
- Matric
- A valid drivers license
- A minimum of 2 - 5 years hardware sales experience
Package & Remuneration
Monthly plus Basic salary, company car, petrol card, medical aid, provident fund, commission
