Introduction

Are you a senior technical leader with deep roots in the South African gaming and casino industry?

Quatro Security Services is looking for an exceptional Technical Portfolio Manager to take end-to-end ownership of one of South Africa’s premier, large-scale gaming portfolios. In this high-impact executive interface role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical operations, regulatory bodies, and client strategy—ensuring seamless execution, governance, and operational resilience across multiple flagship casino properties.

Duties & Responsibilities

Portfolio Leadership: Serve as the single point of accountability for the end-to-end management, governance, and delivery of the gaming portfolio.

Technical Project Oversight: Drive initial requirement scoping, quotation, approval, implementation, commissioning, and close-out across CCTV, VMS, access control, networking, and server projects.

Commercial & Financial Governance: Oversee project costing, hardware/software licensing, labor, purchase orders, invoices, and schedule execution across geographically dispersed locations.

Resource & Team Coordination: Lead internal technical, operational, and compliance teams to ensure all service levels (SLAs) and milestones are met.

Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with casino executive management, surveillance teams, gaming operations, compliance departments, and IT leadership.

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. Gaming & Casino Industry Expertise

Minimum 5 years’ experience within a regulated Gaming, Casino, Surveillance, or Security environment.

Deep knowledge of the National Gambling Act, Provincial Gambling Acts , and specific Gaming Board license conditions.

Proven track record engaging with Gaming Boards, regulatory bodies, and audit teams to manage approvals, licensing, and compliance controls.

Complete understanding of operational limitations, surveillance requirements, responsible gambling standards, and audit obligations in licensed environments.

2. Technical Expertise Solid understanding and working knowledge of

CCTV & Video Management Systems (VMS): Cathexis, Milestone, FAST, or similar platforms.

Security & Network Infrastructure: Access Control Systems, IP Networking, Video Analytics, Server & Storage environments.

Lifecycle & Systems: Technical troubleshooting escalation, system integrations, and technology lifecycle management.

3. Commercial & Delivery Capability

Proven ability to manage multi-property technical projects concurrently.

Strong proposal development skills with commercial acumen across hardware, software, maintenance, and labor costing.

Preferred Qualifications & Background

Active or past Gaming Board Accreditation / Key Employee status within a licensed South African gaming environment.

Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Security Management, Information Technology, Electronics, or Business Management .

Background in surveillance, enterprise security technology, or casino gaming operations.
