- Plan all related maintenance work and assign the appropriate priority to all tasks.
- Plan project tasks.
- Co-ordinate the weekly planning meetings.
- Maintain asset management data.
- Compile, update and issue reports.
- Initiate and co-ordinate the updating of Standards/ Codes of Practice.
- Coach and train enterprise asset management systems users.
- Actively support and promote safety and accident prevention.
- Provide general staff management.
- Monitor and report financial performance against the Budget.
- Disseminates information.
- Accept appointment in terms of the Occupational Health & Safety Act 1993 and regulations as required by the Director Electricity.

Essential Requirements
- National Diploma NQF Level 6 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa ECSA.
- Valid Basic First Aid certificate or to be completed within 6-12 months from date of appointment.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 5 years relevant post registration experience.
- Computer Literacy.
Special Conditions
- 40 hour-5 day week; flexi hours to be agreed with Deputy Head: Technical Support.
- Protective Clothing as per the PPE.
- Incumbents will be subject to transfer/ relocation to any of the Electricity Directorate's depots or divisions as required.
Qualifications Essential Requirements:
