- Manage multiple projects, priorities and production activities simultaneously.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within quality requirements and to customer expectations.
- Translate customer and technical requirements into practical production plans and workflows.
- Develop and manage production schedules, job cards, work instructions and quality documentation.
- Oversee production planning, workflow, vehicle movement, tooling, resources and manpower.
- Identify and resolve technical, production and operational challenges proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement, Lean/5S, waste reduction and process optimisation.
- Liaise with Engineering, Sales, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Lead, develop and performance-manage the production team.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, ISO standards and quality specifications.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular management reporting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Operations Management, Production Management or similar .
- 5 to 10 years experience in Technical / Workshop Management.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, vehicle modification, automotive components, engineering, workshop or a similar technical environment .
- Strong technical/mechanical knowledge.
- Proven project management and production planning experience.
