Job Title: Technical Junior Cost Accountant (Cape Town) Start Date: 2026-07-22 - 2026-08-21 Vacancy Type: Permanent BOK005888 Sectors: Engineering & Technical Finance Location: Western Cape , CPT - Western Suburbs Salary: R 18 000 - R 30 000 Monthly Cost To Company Brief: Technical Junior Cost Accountant (Cape Town) Detail: Qualification Matric / Senior Certificate Diploma or Degree in Cost & Management Accounting, Finance, or related field Requirements CIMA qualification will be an advantage 1–2 years' experience in a manufacturing or technical environment advantageous Strong numerical and analytical skills Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory control advantageous Knowledge of Pastel Evolution Package Good attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and within a team Valid drivers license Preferred Attributes Technically minded with an interest in manufacturing operations Organised and deadline driven Eager to learn and grow within the business Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative Duties Assist with product costing and margin analysis Monitor raw material, labour, and production costs Support monthly stock counts and inventory reconciliations Analyse variances between actual and standard costs Prepare costing reports and operational financial analysis Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and costing databases Work closely with production, procurement, and finance departments Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives Assist with month-end reporting and audit requirements show more...
