ENVIRONMENT

Our client is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to lead delivery across multiple agile software development squads, ensuring teams deliver valuable outcomes predictably, sustainably, and transparently.  This role sits at the centre of the software delivery lifecycle, partnering closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Engineers, QA, Designers, and business stakeholders. Given the depth of technical collaboration involved, we are prioritising candidates with a strong technical or software development background who can build credibility with engineering teams, follow technical discussions in depth, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

This is not a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or traditional people-management role.  While facilitation and planning form part of the role, the primary focus is creating the conditions for successful delivery by improving team effectiveness, managing delivery risk, enabling collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across multiple teams — grounded in genuine technical understanding rather than process facilitation alone. The successful candidate will combine a strong technical or engineering foundation with organisational skills, stakeholder management, data-driven decision making, adaptability, and a growth mindset — with a passion for helping engineering teams achieve outcomes while continuously improving how work gets done.
