We are looking for a technically minded problem-solver to join our team as a Technical Consultant. In this role, you will focus on the technical and integration aspects of RELEX implementation projects. You will lead or support technical workshops, build robust integrations, and investigate complex technical issues to ensure customer success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Full Lifecycle Technical Support: Support customers with the technical implementation of our software solutions—from purchase through go-live and into ongoing Continuous Service.
- Customer Advisory: Advise customers during checkups and workshops to ensure successful project delivery in collaboration with their teams.
- Integration Design & Build: Design and build integrations between RELEX and customer backend systems, focusing on the import, transformation, and export of large data sets.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex technical and performance issues for customers in a timely manner.
- Solution Enhancement: Identify technical solutions that customers are missing for their success and implement those enhancements directly within the software.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree (or 3–4 years of relevant experience) in Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computing Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Experience with programming/database/query languages and tools (e.g., SQL Server, Java, Ruby, or similar).
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Knowledge of databases, integration technologies, and the basics of Linux, Unix, or Windows infrastructure.
- Requirements Translation: Experience in understanding, defining, and documenting customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Soft Skills: Proactive mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
Preferred/Nice-to-Have
- Proven track record of successful client work and implementations.
- Knowledge of application monitoring and distributed systems.
- Basics of Linux, Unix, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in supply chain management and/or business analytics.
- Proficiency in German or any additional languages at a high level of competency.
