- Testing earthmoving equipment engines after assembly on dyno.
- Technical expert investigating and troubleshooting of CAT machines.
- Advanced electronic engine systems and engine operations.
- Knowledge on dyno operations will be an advantage.
- Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine components and identify product issues.
- Compile accurate machine analysis and report on all technical issues identified.
- Maintain a professional image at all times.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Compile informative technical report on all systems (TA report).
- Reports are given to Supervisor to action, normally discussed with CSR.
- To obtain incremental business.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Qualified Artisan.
- 3 years post apprentice/learnership.
- Sound interpersonal communication skills, machine specific technical knowledge and skills, basic finance and business understanding, problem solving and analysis, customer relationship.
