Technical Administrator /PA

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to Production, Engineering and Quality departments.
• Maintain, control and archive engineering drawings, technical schematics, SOPs and other technical documentation.
• Manage document revisions and ensure accurate version control.
• Compile and maintain customer data books, manufacturing records, quality documentation and production reports.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for internal and external ISO 9001 quality audits.
• Provide PA support, including diary management, meeting coordination and minute-taking.
• Act as a point of contact for technical and corporate enquiries.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality and Planning to support project schedules and deadlines.
• Assist with procurement and ordering of office and departmental requirements.
• Ensure accurate data capturing and reporting, including production tracking using advanced Excel functions.

Minimum Requirements

• 35 years experience in technical/quality administration, document control and/or project PA roles .
• Steel manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality administration .
• ISO 9001 certification .
• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Engineering Support or a related field.
• Microsoft Office certification with proof of certification non-negotiable.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables and charts.
• Strong understanding of technical documentation, engineering drawings and quality records.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing.
• Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage confidential information and perform under pressure.
• Must reside in Pretoria, Centurion or Midrand .
