The Surveillance Specialist is responsible for maximising the effectiveness of all AI-enabled surveillance systems across Stallion's monitoring operations.
The role ensures AI platforms consistently deliver accurate, reliable and actionable alerts by monitoring system performance, analysing trends, reducing false alarms, improving camera health, optimising analytics configurations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This position serves as the technical owner of Stallion's AI monitoring environment, working closely with Operations, Technical Services, Software Vendors and Clients to ensure world-class remote monitoring performance.

- General Responsibilities

- Perform any other reasonable duties consistent with the position as directed by Management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant qualification in Security Management, Information Technology, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics or related field (advantageous)
- PSIRA Grade A (or able to obtain)
- Valid driver's licence
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a CCTV Monitoring Centre or Remote Surveillance environment.
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing AI surveillance platforms or CCTV analytics.
- Experience with AI video analytics, LPR systems and remote monitoring technologies.
- Experience managing technical projects and implementing operational improvements.
- Experience compiling operational reports and presenting findings to management.
