We’re looking for a Systems Sales Engineer to join a dynamic technical environment where you’ll combine engineering knowledge, client engagement, solution development, and sales to deliver tailored systems that meet customer needs. Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Engage with clients to understand their technical and business requirements

• Conduct technical scoping and site assessments

• Develop tailored system solutions and prepare professional proposals

• Prepare BOMs, costings, pricing, technical scopes, and project timelines

• Create or coordinate basic P&IDs, layouts, and system schematics

• Present technical solutions and proposals to clients

• Manage proposal revisions, negotiations, and follow-ups through to conversion

• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and generate new business opportunities

• Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable

• Maintain accurate CRM and proposal records while keeping administration to a minimum

Skills & Experience

• Experience in technical sales, systems engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar role

• Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience

• Strong technical understanding with the ability to translate client requirements into practical solutions

• Experience with technical proposals, costing, quotations, or project scoping

• Ability to interpret or develop basic technical drawings, layouts, or P&IDs

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development and lead generation

• Able to manage multiple opportunities while maintaining attention to detail

• Willingness to travel to client sites when required

Qualification: BEng/ BTech/ BSc in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
