Systems Integration & Process Analyst/Consultant – Short-Term Project

Our client requires a highly analytical and process-driven Systems Integration & Process Analyst or independent Consultant to investigate, document and stabilise its ecommerce product-listing environment.

The project will focus on understanding how product information moves from Syspro through Stock2Shop to the company’s website, Takealot, Amazon and other online channels.  This is a hands-on assignment. The successful resource will personally trace data, test product listings, identify errors and integration failures, clean up data, and build the processes, controls and documentation required for reliable product publication and maintenance.

The client is open to engaging an independent Consultant or contractor on a flexible basis. As the systems require time to synchronise between testing stages, the assignment may involve approximately two to three hours per day or half-day sessions rather than full working days. The exact schedule and duration will depend on the project findings and agreed deliverables.

On-site availability in La Lucia will be required for process discovery, stakeholder engagement, testing and implementation. Duties & Responsibilities

The Person

• Relevant qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Process Management or a related field would be advantageous.

• Proven experience in systems analysis, business analysis, process analysis or integration analysis.

• Experience mapping data and processes across multiple integrated systems.

• ERP experience; Syspro exposure would be highly advantageous.

• Stock2Shop experience would be a strong advantage.

• Exposure to ecommerce websites and marketplaces such as Takealot and Amazon.

• Understanding of APIs, system integrations and scheduled data synchronisation.

• Strong systems-testing, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

• Excellent process-mapping, SOP-writing and documentation capability.

• Strong stakeholder-engagement and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and bring structure to an unclear or inconsistent environment.

• Highly logical, methodical and detail-oriented.

What You Will Be Doing

• Map the complete product-listing lifecycle from Syspro through Stock2Shop to the company website, Takealot, Amazon and other relevant platforms.

• Observe and document how products are currently created and maintained.

• Identify the Syspro fields and custom forms required for successful ecommerce publication.

• Establish how Stock2Shop receives, interprets and distributes product information.

• Map corresponding data fields across the ERP, integration platform, website and online marketplaces.

• Review and clean up product data affecting successful publication.

• Document synchronisation jobs, processing times and manual interventions.

• Sit with relevant users to understand current practices and identify inconsistencies.

• Create test products and track changes through every stage of the process.

• Allow for synchronisation cycles and verify outcomes once each process has run.

• Validate descriptions, categories, images, pricing and product attributes across each channel.

• Investigate failed listings, missing information, incorrect mappings, synchronisation delays and data-overwriting issues.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external technical providers to resolve root-causes.

• Establish clear roles, responsibilities and escalation routes.

• Develop process maps, SOPs, controls, validation checklists and troubleshooting documentation.

• Train and hand over the agreed processes to the internal team.

This is a flexible, outcome-based engagement rather than a conventional full-time contract. The schedule, total hours and project duration will be agreed according to the Consultant’s recommended approach, system synchronisation cycles and the complexity identified during the initial investigation.
