Start free — we apply for you →- A vacancy exists for a Systems Controller at Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital, reporting to the Patient Services Manager. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of quality service to all system users.
Critical Outputs
- Always provide first line support for the hospital systems users
- Maintain and manage all IT systems on-site
- Ensure the security of IT systems
- Follow the Life@work process for all users that require computer access
- Effectively assist end users during roll-out of new implementations
- Establish and manage an internal call logging process for users in the hospital
- Effectively troubleshoot system problems before logging an event with Contact Centre
- Effectively co-ordinate and supervise the work of 3rd party companies e.g. CEOS, Di Data, Telkom etc. software and hardware implementation
- Provide appropriate feedback to users on the progress of their events
- Maintain PABX room and switch access room environments.
- The LAN cabling on site.
- Always maintain the neatness of cabling.
- Being the site contact for all telecommunication queries within the hospital.
- Log events to disable users on LHC system upon their resignation or contract termination
- Manage IT budget and plan accordingly/obtain approval for all IT expenses
Requirements
- Matric
- Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or CompTIA A+, and N+ Certified
- ITIL Foundation Advantageous
- A minimum of 2 years Information Technology experience.
- Strong communication skills and coordinating abilities
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail, perofmance through people and partnership building
- Proven experience and excellent computer skills are essential.
- Knowledge of IMeds, Impilo, SAP, Kronos and Vision would be an advantage.
