Systems and Project Manager

A leading organisation is seeking an IT Systems & Project Manager to take ownership of IT projects, business systems, and technology operations. This role combines project management, systems oversight, and people leadership to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that support business objectives. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of new systems, manage application lifecycles, drive integration initiatives, and oversee the performance of key business platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including system implementations, application upgrades, and software development initiatives.
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and milestones while ensuring successful delivery.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Manage and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Design and implement automated workflows and data exchange processes.
• Oversee the performance, availability, and lifecycle management of critical business systems.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary IT team.
• Manage departmental budgets and technology expenditure.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Provide escalation support for complex technical challenges and service disruptions.
• Partner with business leaders to define future technology strategies and system roadmaps.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant IT management, business, or project management qualifications will be advantageous.
• 5 to 10 years of experience within Information Technology environments.
• 3 to 5 years of experience leading IT projects and technology implementations.
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycles from planning through to successful delivery.
• Experience working with enterprise business systems such as ERP, WMS, POS, or similar platforms.
• Experience managing technical teams and coordinating third-party vendors.
