Duties & Responsibilities
System Operational Analyst
Cape Town Southern Suburbs
Full Time Onsite
Batch Processing
Responsible for monitoring of daily batch processes – ensure system is available each day
Ensuring batch processes have run successfully and attend to any exceptions
Responsible for ensuring clients incomes and debit orders are processed correctly
Responsible for ensuring fees have been accrued and collected correctly
Responsible for changes required on Income Distributions – setting up new elements, tax, etc
Responsible for changes required on Interest allocation – setting capitalisation dates and reinvestment of interest
Setup data in preparation for batch processes the evening
Data integrity
Investigate and correct integration issues relating to data recons and data reconciliations
Assist with tax data testing for annual and provisional submissions
Data integrity testing and fixes (eg -ve balances, unresolved deals)
Assist with bulk data updates to Maxim
Oprational
Assist with requirements from internal and external auditors
Maintain and update system processes and procedures
Responsible for the completion of wrap rebalances and bulk switches
Maintain NB static information on Maxim eg calendars, public holidays, batch run dates
New party/instrument set-up
Assist with setting up data for SARS submissions when required
Responsible for operational projects when required
Responsible for CGT changes
Support
First and second level support on operational systems used by, PCS, Manco and Hedge fund teams
Testing
Assist with system testing when required
Desired Experience & Qualification
National Diploma Computer data Processing
Relevant IT qualification
SQL Knowledge
Min 5 years experience in investment with LISP Experience.
Microsoft packages
SQL Server
Knowledge of financial services industry and products (LISP)
