System Engineer required at Consulting and corporate project engineering company in Cape Town. BEng (Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering). System Engineer- Mechatronic
Bellville, Cape Town
Minimum requirements and experience
- BEng (Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering)
- Minimum of 2 years in system integration/IoT systems
- MS Office proficient (emphasis on MS Excel and MS Projects)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- System integration knowledge using IoT technology
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and quality assurance
- Ability to work within tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Willing to travel and assist with on-site implementation
- Skills in SQL, API integration, and exposure to Ladder logic are highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Initiating, planning, and executing system integration
- Adhering to governance requirements
- Assisting teams with data to deliver detailed tender proposals for new clients
- R&D on the latest IoT technologies for integration into the existing infrastructure
- Technical documentation
