- Examine and evaluate systems
- Research and test new technologies
- Conduct proof of concepts and pilots
- Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features
- Implement cybersecurity technologies
- Monitor logs and reports for cybersecurity incidents
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessments on Infrastructure and Applications
- Ability to create and maintain scripts
- Document interfaces between new and legacy systems
- Validate changes by testing programs
- Ability to build and deploy applications using CI/CD
- Perform SQL queries
- Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely
- Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features
- Documenting any processes which employees need to follow to successfully work within our computing system
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 Year Diploma in IT
- Project Management Certificate
- ITIL Advantage
- 2 years IT experience in System Analysis, Design and Development,
- 2 years of experience working with Linux Systems Ubuntu, CentOS or similar
Skills And Competencies
- Familiarity with SQL and database operations
- Familiarity with Linux Operating System
- Familiarity with coding or scripting e.g., JS, Python, Linux
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines
