- A leading manufacturing company based in Riverhorse Valley, Durban is looking for a motivated and analytical individual to join their team as a Syspro Specialist.
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has gained 1-2 years' experience in Risk & Advisory role at an accounting / auditing firm and is now looking to develop a career within IT, ERP systems, and Syspro .
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day administration and support of the Syspro ERP system , ensuring data and system processes are accurate and maintained
- Assist users with Syspro-related queries, troubleshoot basic system issues, and escalate technical matters where required
- Monitor system processes, data integrity, and user access, identifying discrepancies and potential areas of risk
- Assist with system testing, reporting, process improvements, and the implementation of new Syspro functionality
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Production, and other internal teams to ensure effective use of the system
- Assist with maintaining system documentation, procedures, and controls
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better use of Syspro and technology
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's ERP environment with the opportunity to grow into a more specialised IT / Syspro role
Requirements
- Relevant Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, IT, Risk Management, Business, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience gained within Risk & Advisory, Internal Audit, Assurance, Controls, or a similar environment , preferably within a professional accounting / auditing firm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
- A genuine interest in IT, ERP systems and developing a career in Syspro
Advantageous
- Previous exposure to Syspro or another ERP system
- Experience with systems testing controls, process improvement, or data analysis
