Switchboard Operator

s Operate and manage the hospital switchboard efficiently and professionally s Answer all incoming calls promptly, courteously and professionally s Direct calls accurately to the correct departments, extensions or doctors' rooms s Ensure that the switchboard is attended at all times during allocated working hours s Take and relay messages clearly and timeously where required s Make clear and accurate intercom announcements when requested s Maintain the confidentiality of all hospital, patient and staff information s Maintain professional conduct, focus and attention at the switchboard during operating hours s Build positive stakeholder relationships, uphold Melomed's Values and comply with all applicable policies and procedures
