- To perform lifeguard duties, facility maintenance and supervision, personnel and finance management, and to manage access control at municipal swimming pools
Appointment requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid Lifeguard Award with yearly re-test certificate
- Valid First Aid Level 1 certificate
- At least two years' relevant swimming pool operations experience
- Knowledge of swimming pool operations filtration systems
- Code B driving licence
- Computer literacy
- Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
- Willingness and ability to work on Saturdays according to a fixed schedule
- Willingness to be redeployed temporarily to another facility in Region 3
