Start free — we apply for you →The Supply Chain Syspro Lead is responsible for leading the implementation, testing, and stabilisation of all supply chain processes, ensuring that they are aligned to the Syspro ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain Process Ownership
Lead the development, documentation, and implementation of end-to-end supply chain processes covering:
- Raw material receiving and quality release
- Inventory and warehouse management
- Production material movements
- Finished goods handling and storage
- Order picking, dispatch, and delivery confirmation
- Batch, lot, and shelf-life management E
Ensure all processes are standardised, scalable, and aligned with best practice supply chain principles.
2. Warehouse Management & Inventory Control
Review and align existing warehouse processes to Syspro, including
- Warehouse and bin location structures
- Stock movements and inventory visibility
- Stock rotation
- Cycle counting and stock reconciliation
- Inventory accuracy controls
- Warehouse replenishment processes
Ensure all inventory transactions are electronically controlled and traceable.
3. Barcode Scanning & Mobility
Lead the deployment of barcode and mobile scanning solutions across
- Receiving
- Production
- Warehousing
- Dispatch
- Logistics operations
Ensure scanning processes support real-time inventory accuracy and traceability.
5. SYSPRO Go-Live Readiness
Work with implementation partners to ensure that Syspro is configured relative to Sir Fruits business requirements and validate supply chain functional requirements within:
- Inventory Management
- Compliance with Health and Safety regulations
- Traceability
- Procurement
- Manufacturing
- Sales and Distribution
Lead
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Process validation
- Data verification
- Cutover planning
- Go-live readiness assessments
6. Change Management & Training
Support the change management and training team, ensuring that the following activities are adequately addressed:
- End-user training
- Super-user development
- Process documentation aligned and SOPs
- Work instructions and training materials
Act as the primary business champion for supply chain transformation.
7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Ensure that operational dashboards are developed to measure the following KPIs:
- Inventory performance
- Inventory accuracy > 98%
- Picking accuracy > 99.5%
- Reduction in stock losses
- Warehouse efficiency
