A leading flexible plastic packaging manufacturer based in Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Graduate to join its Supply Chain team on a 12-month contract.
This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving and dispatch activities.
- Support warehouse operations, including stock control and inventory accuracy.
- Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Capture and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with cycle counts and stock takes.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers, production, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing.
- Adhere to all company SHEQ and housekeeping standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management.
- 6–12 months' experience in a receiving, stores, warehouse, or inventory environment (internship or permanent experience will be considered).
- Good understanding of warehouse and inventory processes.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Syspro, Pastel, or similar) will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Own reliable transport or the ability to travel to Cato Ridge is advantageous.
