Supply Chain Graduate - 12 Month Contract

Introduction

A leading flexible plastic packaging manufacturer based in Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Graduate to join its Supply Chain team on a 12-month contract.

This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and dispatch activities.

• Support warehouse operations, including stock control and inventory accuracy.

• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.

• Capture and maintain accurate inventory records.

• Assist with cycle counts and stock takes.

• Ensure materials are stored safely and in accordance with company procedures.

• Liaise with suppliers, production, procurement, and logistics teams.

• Maintain accurate documentation and filing.

• Adhere to all company SHEQ and housekeeping standards.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management.

• 6–12 months' experience in a receiving, stores, warehouse, or inventory environment (internship or permanent experience will be considered).

• Good understanding of warehouse and inventory processes.

• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Syspro, Pastel, or similar) will be advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment.

• Own reliable transport or the ability to travel to Cato Ridge is advantageous.
