We are looking into hiring a Supply Chain Analyst as part of the Supply Planning team. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office, Cape Town, reporting into the Senior Supply Planner. Duties & Responsibilities
Overview
To ensure the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right locations, at the right time in-line with inventory targets. To analyse supply chain data, inventory models, identify risks and provide insights. Work collaboratively with Supply Planning, Central Replenishment and other relevant functions to capture relevant business input.
Purpose and Objectives
- Analyse supply chain performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) ensuring stock levels are maintained within business rules.
- To perform what-if and root cause analysis to generate reports and provide recommendations to improve supply chain efficiency whilst building inventory models.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives improve service levels and efficiencies.
- To support business reporting (e.g. S&OP and Board Review Packs) by providing supply-planning inputs and flagging risks.
- To create standardized and ad-hoc reports to support the business, tracking supply chain metrics analysing minimum order quantities and purchase order flows to ensure metrics are achieved.
- To provide support to Supply Planning with data on vendor tracking, availability challenges and provide improvement objectives.

- 2-5 years in FMCG retail or other related working environments as a Planner
- Minimum 2-3 years demand or merchandise planning experience
- Experience in capacity/ demand planning/ forecasting
- Extensive experience working with computer systems and exposure to IT systems such as JDA
Education
- B Com Degree or equivalent, Science/ Engineering
