Start free — we apply for you →Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer - East London Start Date: 2026-08-06 - 2026-08-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA026211 Sectors: Engineering Location: SA - Eastern Cape , East London Salary: Brief: Our client in East London is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer with OEM Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) and Mercedes Benz Quality Requirements experience, APQP, PPAP and Mercedes Benz START Portal, and PIA Portal experience Detail: Minimum requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent qualification. 3 - 5 Years' experience in SUPPLIER QUALITY, Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality Experience within the Automotive Manufacturing Environment essential Qualified Internal Auditor: VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certificate (Beneficial / Advantageous) Strong knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001 and Customer Specific Requirements (SCR) Demonstrated knowledge of OEM Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) including Mercedes Benz Quality Requirements, APQP, PPAP and customer portal management Experience using customer specific portals and quality systems (Mercedes Benz START Portal, PIA Portal or equivalent) Experience managing Supplier Audits and Supplier Performance Improvement initiative Experience in Supplier Audits, Engineering Change Management and Customer Specific Requirements Strong knowledge and application of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) Experience in structured problem solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 WHY and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Experience in SAP QM and advanced MS Office / Excel proficiency Valid drivers license and willingness to travel when required Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills Consultant: Edna Anderhold - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful show more...
