- Assess the associated risk of the sourcing plan with the Accreditation strategy. Achieve accredited bidders list.
- Participate in the accreditation assessments for potential suppliers Approval of assessment reports.
- Maintain and optimise systems, processes and works instructions for Supplier Accreditation. Annual review and continuous improvement.
- Measure and track process for supplier accreditation and deselection for a portfolio.
- Monitor benefits and define bottom line impacts on the performance of Suppliers Cycle time measurement and % correct accreditation register.
- Maintain and optimise systems, processes and works instructions for supplier accreditation Document all processes and conduct sample evaluations on completed accreditations.
- Annual review and continuous improvement
- Measure and track process for supplier accreditation for a portfolio.
- Measure the validity of accreditation / deselection assessments and approvals.
- Cycle time measurement and accreditation register
- Align Supplier Accreditation initiatives with other Supplier Management strategies such as supplier development and performance management Alignment of KPI's and scorecard measures
- Screen supplier applications and liaise with key stakeholders to determine if they should be listed.
- All listed suppliers meet Sasol requirements
Formal Education
- University Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or Quality Management
Min Experience
- 4+ relevant years
MIP R 210.43
- Auditing experience
- Good and sound knowledge of mechanical / electrical engineering
- Quality management systems and safety management experience
MIP R 317.01
- The technical experience 10yrs.
