- The incumbent will report to the Mine Overseer and will be responsible for production targets
- Compliance with the company's HSEC system is essential
- Supporting the achievement of production performance
- Ensuring implementation of management decision, legal requirements
- Responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of his/her crew
- Compliance of mine standards and procedures
About you
- Grade 12
- Blasting certificate for scheduled mines
- Shift Supervisor Certificate of competence will be advantageous
- At least 3 (three) years' experience as a Miner
- At least 5 (five) years' experience in a board and pillar, trackless mining environment
- Accurate and timeous completion of tasks (Results Driven)
- Operational Problem Solving and decision making
- Good communication skills
