- This role is a fixed term contract position. As a Supervisor Maintenance Alesa FTC, you will be responsible to lead a team of multi-skilled artisans and be responsible for the execution of Work Management and supervise work execution, inspections and observations in a safe and sustainable manner in the Maintenance department.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to
- You will be responsible for well-designed work to guarantee safe execution of all work;
- Ensuring effective execution of all planned & unplanned maintenance activities, to the defined quality standards;
- Manage work execution to deliver adherence to schedule on the day;
- To co-ordinate effective prioritization and execution of Plant shutdowns within planned duration;
- Delivery of maintenance KPI's for your section;
- Effective management of spares and repairable process;
- Manage the staffing and development of personnel & contractors within your team;
- Embed and sustain a continuous improvement culture in your team.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following
- A minimum of 4 - 6 years hands-on maintenance experience is essential of which 1 year in a supervisory capacity in a technical field;
- Be prepared to work shifts if needed;
- Perform standby duties from time to time as required by the organization;
- Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems is essential
- Bulk solid material handling experience belt conveyors, storage silos & transfer hoppers, feeders & controls is essential
Qualifications for this role are
- National Diploma in a Technical field of study OR a T3/S4 in an Engineering field of study;
- Valid Trade Test.
