Job Title: Supervisor: Fresh Production Start Date: 2026-06-19 - 2026-07-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA025995 Sectors: Manufacturing Location: SA - Western Cape , Cape Town - CBD Salary: R 14000 Brief: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Fresh Production Supervisor to join a dynamic manufacturing environment in Malmesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end fresh production process, ensuring that quality, productivity, hygiene, food safety, and operational targets are consistently achieved Salary: R14 000 Detail: Minimum requirements: Qualifications Grade 12 (Matric) is essential. Experience 3–5 years' operational experience within a manufacturing environment. Previous supervisory experience will be advantageous. Experience within a food production or meat processing environment will be beneficial. SHEQ Compliance Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements. Enforce the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain high standards of personal and product hygiene. Promote a safe, clean, and compliant working environment. Production Management Oversee and coordinate all fresh production processes, including mince, skin-pack, fresh cut MAP, and value-added products. Implement and maintain efficient production procedures and processes to optimise productivity and quality. Ensure products are produced according to established standards, customer requirements, and production targets. Manage stock control and stock rotation within the production area. Monitor product quality, appearance, packaging, and labelling to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are maintained throughout all production processes. Identify and report quality or maintenance non-conformances and implement corrective actions where required.
