- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Public Management, Operations Management, Municipal Administration, Business Management or related field
- 5 years' relevant experience of which at least 2 years must be in a supervisory capacity
Core Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and oversee cemetery operations and service delivery activities across the area of responsibility
- Co-ordinate and monitor burial operations and associated administrative processes
- Oversee cemetery administrative processes and the maintenance of burial records
- Co-ordinate the allocation of operational resources across cemetery sites
- Monitor the operational condition of cemetery facilities and burial infrastructure
- Ensure adherence to legislation, municipal by-laws, policies and health and safety standards
- Monitor occupational health and safety requirements within cemetery operations
- Co-ordinate operational interactions with stakeholders and resolve escalated service delivery matters
- Ensure responsive, professional and customer-focused service delivery
- Monitor operational performance and reporting on service delivery outcomes
- Supervise Cementery Supervisors and manage employee performance
