- Manual Material Handling & Bin Management
- Basic Inventory Counting & Stock Movement
- Stock Receiving, Labelling & Shelving

Key Duties & Responsibilities Customer Service and Responsiveness
- Respond promptly to urgent material requests during breakdowns.
- Support internal teams with locating parts or transferring items to work areas.
- Foster cooperative working relationships with technicians and artisans.

- Stock Accuracy Physical vs. System
- Timeliness of Material Issuance
- Housekeeping 5S Compliance Score
- Number of Issuing/Receiving Errors
- Audit Findings Stock Handling/Documentation
- Number of Safety or Non-Conformance Incidents Reported
- Obsolete/Expired Stock Prevented or Flagged
Skills, Experience & Education Education
- Matric / Grade 12 – Required
- Basic stores, logistics, or warehouse training – Advantageous
- Forklift operation license – Advantageous if applicable
Experience
- 1–2 years experience in a warehouse, engineering stores, or manufacturing support environment
- Exposure to stock receiving, issuing, and physical handling of engineering parts
- Experience working in a safety- and quality-compliant industrial setting
Skills
- Knowledge of basic warehouse and stores procedures
- Familiarity with engineering components e.g., bearings, belts, tools
- Ability to read basic delivery notes and stock labels
- Competence in physical stock counting and tagging
- Good organizational and housekeeping skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic understanding of ERP systems or ability to support data capturing
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and movement of materials
- Teamwork and communication with internal stakeholders
