Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Receive stock and check that paperwork and goods are correct.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately for dispatch.
- Load and offload goods using the correct procedures.
- Store stock in the correct locations and keep it easy to access.
- Prepare warehouse orders for delivery or collection.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
- Report stock or delivery discrepancies to supervisors.
- Work closely with the wider warehouse team.
- Help improve warehouse processes and customer service levels.
Requirements
- 12 years' experience in a retail warehouse environment.
- Forklift Operator's Licence or Certificate would be an advantage.
- Computer literacy would be beneficial.
- Good attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
Other Requirements
- No criminal record.
- No previous dismissals.
- Previous employment will be verified.
- Willingness to complete a polygraph and drug screening.
Education
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
