Motus Toyota Parktown currently holds a vacancy for a Storekeeper reporting to the Manager: Parts.
The person in this position will be responsible for unpacking and storing in correct bin location, incoming parts, and to pick parts against correct documentation for delivery.
- Receive, unpack, check and bin all incoming stock.
- Ensure that parts are free from damage and that the part number and label are correct before binning
- Ensure Admin department receives all relevant documentation with signatures
- Ensure accuracy of binning
- Update bin locations as per Toyota specifications and standards
- Pick all parts against a computerized invoice unless otherwise stated and hand to appropriate authorized person
- Examine and ensure all outgoing parts are free from damage before handing over to appropriate person
- Ensure accuracy of picking
- Adhere to all safety and security Policies set out by the Company
- Maintain and keep warehouse clean and tidy at all times
- Assist with perpetual and periodic stock counts
- Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time
- Ensure dress code is according to Toyota standards and personal hygiene
- Be willing to work overtime during Stocktaking
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of Grade 12
- Computer literacy is essential
- Clear Criminal Record
- Area Warehouse knowledge experience will be an advantage
- Must have excellent verbal communication skill
- Working within Toyota Standards
