Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Diploma/Degree in Retail Management, Business, Commerce or a related field advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' FMCG or convenience retail experience, including at least 3 years in a store or management role
- 3–5 years' FMCG procurement or buying experience, including supplier negotiations
- Proven experience managing a store P&L and achieving sales and gross profit targets
- Experience in deli, fresh food or food-to-go operations advantageous
- Strong knowledge of stock control, replenishment, stocktakes, shrinkage and wastage management
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and Halaal compliance
- Experience managing and developing teams, including merchandisers
- Proficiency in POS, stock management systems and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong commercial, financial, leadership and negotiation skills
- Results-driven, hands-on and able to work under pressure
- Willing to work Monday to Saturday from midday, with flexibility as required
