We are looking for a professional, highly motivated, and confident Store Manager who is passionate about fashion to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achievement of sales and profit budgets by the effective ongoing management of store resources and procedures
- Protection of all assets (stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers) through effective implementation of company policies.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales and targets for all staff to evaluate performance in the achievement of the budget and take action where necessary.
- Ensure store layouts are in line with company standards
- Maintain customer service
- Ensure correct administration procedures with respect to the stock room and markdowns
- Ensure effective merchandise replenishment and housekeeping
- Recruit, develop, and guide staff to ensure a friendly and efficient environment
- Staff management and development
- Management of store security
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts
- Responsible for stocktake and the results thereof
- Monitor and manage hours of work for all staff, including rostering and leave
- Overall control of store operations and daily running
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A minimum of 3 – 4 years of store management experience is required
- Must be customer Service oriented
- Strong management skills and ability to develop junior team members
- Ability to plan, organize, and control effectively
- Working knowledge of budgets
- High level of analytical accuracy and attention to detail
- Tolerance within a highly pressurized environment
- High level of integrity
- Must be able to show initiative, be proactive, and follow through on projects and deadlines
- Must be computer literate (MS Word / Excel /Outlook / Internet)
