Start free — we apply for you →Our client, a leading retailer, is seeking an experienced Store Admin Manager to oversee and optimise all store administration functions, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and profitability. This role is ideal for a hands-on retail professional with strong administrative, financial, and people management experience. 
 Duties include: 
 
 • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the store.
 • Manage and monitor goods in transit, receiving processes, and stock movements in accordance with company procedures.
 • Assist in controlling store shrinkage, stock losses, and consumable expenses to achieve business objectives.
 • Drive customer loyalty initiatives and support customer service excellence.
 • Coordinate and administer all HR-related processes, documentation, and submissions in line with company policies and procedures.
 • Oversee workforce management systems, including employee scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping.
 • Ensure performance management processes are implemented and maintained effectively.
 • Manage cash office operations, daily takings, banking processes, and cash controls.
 • Maintain transaction integrity through the implementation and monitoring of internal control procedures.
 • Monitor cashier productivity, service levels, and operational compliance.
 • Oversee goods receiving, returns, credits, and related administrative functions while providing guidance and support to team members.
 • Ensure accurate processing of incoming and outgoing stock transactions.
 • Assist with store budgeting, financial administration, and expense management.
 • Develop, mentor, and manage administrative and operational support staff.
 
 Minimum Requirements 
 
 • Grade 12 / Matric.
 • Minimum 3 years’ retail experience in areas such as:
 • Minimum 3+ years’ management experience supervising a team of approximately 8 or more employees.
 • Computer literacy with strong MS Office skills.
 • Willingness to work retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays.
 • Strong retail administration and operational management experience.
 • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
