Job Title: Stock Controller Start Date: 2026-08-21 - 2026-09-20 Vacancy Type: Permanent CPT000181 Sectors: Engineering, Production and Technical Manufacturing Location: Western Cape , West Coast Salary: (Pension contribution, Market related, Negotiable) Brief: procurement|warehouse|warehouse supervisor We are looking for a Stock Controller with inventory and warehousing experience for a position in Montague Gardens. Detail: Requirements: Grade 12 with mathematics A qualification in procurement / supply chain / warehousing preferred Overhead and Forklift license and experience Computer literate More than 5 years inventory and warehouse experience Physically well (able to get on the shelves and trucks, offloading of products etc.) Duties: Complete GRN’s when receiving stock. Put ID’s on plates, offload materials, either by crane or by forklift. Attend to and assist bed loaders and operators with plates. Write ID’s on test certificates. Request test certificates from suppliers. Maintain test certificates, linking and updating database. Control stock levels on computer and physically involved in the warehouse. Perform regular internal location stock audits. Participate in financial year end stock take. Inform the Buyer regarding figures – plate received. Assist Despatch from time to time with queries regarding materials and deliveries. Liaise with Production to ensure on-time deliveries. Raise non-conformances against Suppliers where necessary. Attend to sales queries, i.e. materials, test certificates, etc. Offload deliveries with forklift, create ID’s, draw up materials, book into Sigma sheets and inform the necessary personnel about delivered materials.
