Our client, an established organisation based in the Western Cape, is seeking an experienced Stock / Dispatch Controller to join their team. This permanent position will be responsible for overseeing stock control, inventory management, warehouse administration and daily dispatch operations, ensuring accurate stock records and efficient distribution processes. Duties & Responsibilities
Location: Western Cape Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 per month, negotiable Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 essential.
- 2–5 years' experience in stock control, inventory management, dispatch or warehouse operations.
- Experience conducting stocktakes, cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
- Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Knowledge of stock rotation principles (FIFO / FEFO).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical, administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A qualification or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain or Warehouse Management will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
- Conduct regular stock counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.
- Ensure appropriate stock rotation and storage procedures.
- Coordinate daily picking, packing and dispatch activities.
- Verify invoices, delivery notes, waybills and other dispatch documentation.
- Coordinate with transport providers and monitor deliveries.
- Supervise loading and offloading activities.
- Maintain warehouse organisation and safety standards.
- Capture stock movements and generate stock and dispatch reports.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient stock and dispatch operations.
