- R45 000 – R55 000 ctc pm, depending on experience.
Desired experience and qualifications
- Matric
- Accounting qualification such as BCom Accounting, BCom Finance, National Diploma in Accounting, or relevant equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years' relevant stock accounting experience
- Previous experience in the transport/logistics/construction industry will be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Valid driver's licence
Key Responsibilities will include
- Monitoring of stock levels
- Fleet operating costs
- Fuel and diesel reconciliations
- Vehicle maintenance costs
- Driver advances and expenses
- Trip/load costing
- Cost-per-kilometre analysis
- Fleet profitability/cost analysis
- Transport-related financial reporting
- Monitor income and expenditure against budgets
- Assist with cash-flow management and financial forecasting
- Process and reconcile fuel, toll, vehicle and other transport-related expenses
- Assist with fleet-related financial reporting and cost analysis
- Capture and reconcile vehicle operating costs
- Prepare information required for annual financial statements and audits
- Identify discrepancies, investigate variances and implement corrective action
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information
- Provide management with accurate financial information and reports when required
