Our client, a leading multinational organisation, is seeking a Statutory Reporting Analyst to join their Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for statutory and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements while supporting group reporting activities and maintaining a strong financial control environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for statutory and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements while supporting group reporting activities and maintaining a strong financial control environment.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process
  • Analyse financial information and resolve reporting issues.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of financial controls.
  • Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements

  • BCom Honours in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • SAICA articles completed or ACCA/CIMA qualification (completed or currently in progress).
  • 3–5 years' experience in one or more of the following:
  • Statutory Reporting
  • Group Reporting
  • External Audit
  • Financial Accounting
  • IFRS Reporting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience preparing financial statements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Advantageous

  • Experience within a multinational organisation or shared services environment.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or a similar ERP system.
  • Exposure to internal controls and governance frameworks.
