- Working closely with the Total Rewards Manager, responsible for coordinating and implementing the institutional wellness strategy and managing the relationship with the institution's wellness service provider.
- Effective communication ensures staff are aware of the availability of wellness interventions and initiatives. Ensures wellness interventions and initiatives are carried out within the budget provided. Provides back-up support for the Remuneration and Benefits Officer.
The Requirements
A relevant B. Degree at the NQF level 7 ideally with psychology, social sciences, social work, and/or human resources with approximately 3 years' relevant experience, where such experience includes: -
- Previous staff wellness experience
- Previous experience coordinating and implementing staff wellness initiatives and activities
- Preferably project management experience, or in the absence of this, a demonstrable high level of organisation and coordination
- At least 2 years of experience where work was done using spreadsheets, in particular Excel. Advanced Excel would be an advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience of analysis, interpreting and interrogating data and reporting on this.
- Previous experience in handling large volumes of data, where a high level of accuracy and attention to detail was required
- Previous counselling experience and/or facilitation/training experience would be advantageous.
