  • The Human Resources Management team partners with business leaders to deliver integrated people solutions that enable organisational performance and foster a high-performance culture. The team provides strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with labour legislation and BMW Group standards.

What awaits you?

  • Partner with business leaders to provide proactive HR advice and implement people solutions that support business objectives.
  • Drive key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, talent management, succession planning, organisational design, workforce planning and change management.
  • Coach and advise leaders on employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, conflict resolution and the application of labour legislation and company policies.
  • Analyse HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and recommend actions that improve organisational performance.
  • Support the implementation of Employment Equity, diversity and organisational development initiatives while ensuring compliance with BMW Group policies and South African labour legislation.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated HR solutions and continuously improve HR processes and employee experience.

What should you bring along?Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing or labour union intensive environment.
  • Experience partnering and providing guidance on strategic and operational HR matters to business leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, organisational development, talent management, succession planning and salary & bonus planninig.
  • Experience facilitating employee relations matters and application of labour legislation and company policies.
  • Experience implementing and or leading HR initiatives, organisational change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Technical Knowledge

  • Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
  • Advance understanding of performance management, organisational design, workforce planning and talent management processes.
  • Ability to interpret HR metrics and translate insights into practical business solutions.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, governance principles and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to compile, analyse and intrepret data to influence decisions.
