Job Description

  • Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa CCBSA has an exciting opportunity in our Special Events department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for Special Events Coordinator, which is based in Pretoria.The successful candidate will report directly to the Special Events Manager. Key Purpose is to develop, implement and maintain effective account plans thereby managing the profitable sales of CCBSA products, and the development and maintenance of new business relationships and opportunities so that customer excellence, brand loyalty and profitable volume growth are achieved.

Key Duties & Responsibilities Event Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate and supervise Special Events Assistants and Driver Assistants to ensure efficient event preparation, execution quality, and operational discipline.

Asset & Equipment Management

  • Manage event assets, branding materials, stock, and equipment to ensure operational readiness, accurate tracking, and effective utilisation.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Support budget control, supplier coordination, overtime management, and efficient allocation of event resources to optimise operational costs and ROI.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with suppliers, venue teams, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure effective event delivery and customer satisfaction.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety procedures, licensing requirements, and operational governance during all event activities.

Reporting & Administration

  • Compile event reports, stock reconciliations, attendance tracking, and ROI feedback to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement.

Skills, Experience & Education Education

  • Grade 12 / Matric Essential
  • Diploma or certificate in Marketing, Events, Logistics, or related field Essential

Experience

  • 3–5 years' experience in special events, activations, logistics, or FMCG operational environments
  • Experience coordinating event teams, suppliers, and operational logistics advantageous
  • Experience working with event assets, stock management, and activation execution preferred
