A well-established retail organisation based in Durban is looking for a Space Management Systems Support professional to support the systems and technology used within their Space Planning environment.
The successful candidate will act as an important link between business users, Space Planning and technology, ensuring systems, data and processes operate effectively.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical and functional support for space management systems.
- Support users with system-related queries and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and manage system data and configurations.
- Investigate system issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Assist with system enhancements, testing and implementation.
- Work closely with Space Planning and other business stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of space management data.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant degree/diploma in Information Technology, Business Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- Experience supporting retail systems, space planning systems or business applications.
- Experience with JDA, Blue Yonder or similar retail planning systems will be highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Good understanding of data and systems processes.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Retail/FMCG experience highly advantageous.
