Spa Reservationist - Tokai - Western Cape

Introduction

We are looking for a professional and friendly Spa Reservationist to join a luxury spa team. This role is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every booking and interaction is handled with accuracy, warmth, and efficiency. You will also support the spa reception team when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reservations & Guest Experience

• Handle all spa booking enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person

• Provide guidance on spa treatments, packages, and promotions

• Recommend and upsell treatments, packages, and retail products

• Manage the spa booking system to schedule therapists and facilities accurately

• Confirm bookings and send pre-arrival communications

• Handle group bookings and coordinate with hotel and restaurant reservations

• Maintain guest confidentiality at all times

Front Desk & Operational Support

• Welcome guests warmly and introduce them to the spa facilities

• Support the front desk team with check-ins, check-outs, billing, cash-ups, and reports

• Handle payments, vouchers, and billing accurately

• Assist with retail stock control and displays

• Provide administrative support to the Spa Manager, including filing and reporting

Guest Promise & Professional Standards

• Uphold the spa’s guest promise and luxury standards

• Personalise guest experiences and anticipate their needs

• Maintain high professional standards in appearance, conduct, and communication

• Actively invite feedback and implement improvements

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Education     Grade 12

Additional Qualifications Minimum Work Experience Somatology qualification / ITEC / SAAHA / CIDESCO

2-3 years’ experience in a 5* environment

▪ Previous experience in a luxury spa, wellness, or hospitality environment preferred.

▪ Reservations or reception experience essential.

▪ Knowledge of spa treatments and terminology advantageous.

▪ Matric certificate (essential), hospitality or spa-related qualification (advantageous).
