Vacancy: Soup Kitchen Driver

  • We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and compassionate Soup Kitchen Driver to assist with the collection, transportation, and delivery of food and supplies to support our community feeding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and deliver food donations, groceries, and supplies.
  • Transport prepared meals safely and efficiently to designated locations.
  • Load and unload food items and equipment.
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
  • Assist with basic logistics and distribution activities when required.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and organizational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver's license: Code 10 or 14 PDP
  • Clean driving record.
  • Previous driving experience will be an advantage.
  • Ability to lift and carry food supplies and equipment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours when needed.
  • Passion for serving the community and supporting vulnerable groups.
