As a C++ Software Engineer, you will work as part of an Agile SCRUM team responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex software applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new features and functionality using C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio
- Analysing business and system requirements to determine optimal technical solutions
- Designing, coding, testing, and documenting software applications
- Maintaining existing software and resolving defects
- Collaborating closely with developers, testers, and support teams
- Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving customer-reported issues
- Researching new technologies and development approaches
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and development best practices
- Developing an understanding of specialised engineering and infrastructure-related software solutions
Skills & Experience
- Strong C++ development experience
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop high-quality, maintainable code
- Experience working within an Agile SCRUM environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for continuous learning and technology
Qualification
- BSc Computer Science, or
- BEng degree with a strong mathematics focus
