Are you an experienced Software Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable applications and turning ideas into high-performing digital solutions?

We're looking for a Software Developer to join our technology team and play a key role in designing, developing and optimising secure, scalable and future-ready software solutions .

This is more than a coding role. You'll have the opportunity to influence solution design, architecture, development standards and DevOps practices , while working alongside Solution Architects, Product Owners, QA and delivery teams.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern technologies and frameworks.

• Build robust front-end and backend solutions , APIs and reusable software components.

• Work with technologies including React, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript and serverless frameworks .

• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.

• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design and framework decisions .

• Develop applications designed for performance, scalability, security, resilience and maintainability .

• Work with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure and/or GCP .

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation and DevOps practices .

• Work with containers and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .

• Design and develop relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL or similar .

• Write unit tests and support integration, system and UAT testing.

• Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis and drive technical resolutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Apply secure coding practices and ensure solutions meet security, data protection and governance requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate developers.

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and identify opportunities to introduce better ways of working.

Requirements

What we're looking for

You're an experienced developer who can move comfortably between hands-on development, technical problem-solving and solution design .

You'll ideally have

• 6-8 years' professional software development experience .

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a proven experience-based equivalent.

• Strong full-stack development experience.

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development using React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, Java, .NET, Python and .NET technologies.

• Strong backend API development experience.

• Solid knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles and software architecture .

• Strong database design and development skills.

• Experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP .

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD .

• Experience working within Agile development environments and across the full SDLC.

• The ability to take business requirements and turn them into working, scalable software solutions .

• Experience working effectively within hybrid and distributed teams .

• Clear criminal record
