Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

5+ years' experience in software engineering

Graduate or postgraduate in Computer Science or GeoInformatics

Remote sensing knowledge

Geospatial data management knowledge

Web development (React, TS, html, CSS, Nextjs)

React Native (Expo)

Exposure to QGIS, QGIS Graphical modeller and PyQGIS

PostgreSQL and PostGIS

Cloud infrastructure (AWS) - Lambda, RDS, Cognito, ec2, Gateway, Route 53, Bedrock, etc.

Linux CLI

Excellent agentic AI skills (ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, etc.)

Quick and keen learner

Great team player

Comfortable communicating in English and Afrikaans
