An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mid-Senior Level Software Developer to join our Durban-based team within an established marketing company.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, develop reliable and efficient solutions, and contribute to the continued improvement of our systems and platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing clean, efficient and well-documented code, following development best practices while working collaboratively with the development team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to

• Develop, maintain and enhance software applications and internal systems.

• Write clean, efficient, scalable and well-documented code.

• Follow established coding standards, development practices and quality requirements.

• Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Assist with the ongoing improvement and optimization of existing systems.

• Work closely with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Test and troubleshoot applications to ensure functionality and reliability.

• Research new technologies, tools and development approaches that could improve existing systems.

• Take ownership of assigned development projects and deliver work within agreed deadlines.

• Contribute ideas and solutions that improve the overall efficiency and functionality of our systems.

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have experience and proficiency in the following:

• MS SQL

• Bootstrap

• C#

• Node.js

• SSRS Reporting

• AI Research

• JavaScript

• CSS3

A strong understanding of full-stack development and the ability to work across different areas of the development environment will be highly valued.
